Krista L. Allison

GO! Founder

Krista L. Allison has a passion and love for educating the whole child and the whole adult.
She serves as a Family, Community, and Engagement Consultant for the Ohio
Department of Education, State Support Team 9, and Early Education and Effective
Practice Strategist for Stark Education Partnership, Inc.

For over 20 years, Mrs. Allison has served in leadership roles at the state, county, and
school district levels. Mrs. Allison is an education advocate, a public speaker and
provides training and coaching to education leaders across the state to create an
environment that serves the whole child.

In 2015, Mrs. Allison was called by the Lord to start “GO!” (God’s Opportunity). Each
GO! Women’s Bible study is filled with engaging and in-depth Biblical conversations
and reflections on our walk with the Lord. In addition, Krista writes a weekly blog,
“The Monday GO! Report,” that now airs as a podcast to share the good news of God’s
love for us all.

As Christians, she believes that we have been called to be light and salt and to be God’s
ambassadors here on earth. Matthew 5:13-16 tells us that we are light and salt and to
“let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” As can be found in her weekly blog and podcast, you will regularly hear her say, “Remember, each day is an opportunity for us to... Lead, Serve, and GO!”

Krista volunteers throughout the community, from local foodbank ministries to
serving on various boards. In addition, she is a member of the Stark County Alumnae
Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Kent Area (OH) Chapter, The
Links, Incorporated, Member.

Mrs. Allison is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College and Case Western Reserve
School of Law. Mrs. Allison serves on the leadership team and the youth ministry
department at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, and her most immense joy is her
family. She is married to Adrian E. Allison, and they have two daughters, Averi and
Anastasia.
